Established,
forward-thinking Training and Teaching Practice seeks Salaried GP.
As well as providing excellent general practice
and nursing we also provide extended hours and access week days and Saturday extended
access hub appointments.
In addition to this, you may be asked to
support the Covid Vaccination Programme which Bath Row Medical Practice is the
host site for Edgbaston Primary Care Network.
We are
looking for a committed, enthusiastic GP to help us maintain and further develop
delivery of evidence-based, high quality, patient-centred primary care, to
engage fully in commissioning activities and to identify and respond to
opportunities to provide new services. The Practice is situated in new premises
in close proximity to the City Centre, with excellent transport links and
access to local amenities such as The Mailbox and NIA.
We
have a friendly and supportive Practice team with great experience. We offer a flexible working environment and
regular CPD opportunities to develop a career in General Practice.

Main duties of the job
As a salaried GP you will contribute fully to the clinical workload of
the Practice providing consultations, undertaking patient-related
administration and providing clinical advice and support to medical and nursing
colleagues/staff. In addition to this,
there will be the opportunity to take on a speciality, for example Sexual
Health or Minor Surgery etc.

there will be the opportunity to take on a speciality, for example Sexual

A salaried GP will work within a contractual framework. You will have an allocated area of clinical
responsibility/expertise in which you are expected to develop a lead for the
Practice and ensure high standards of service quality and delivery in respect
of our NHS contract, directed and enhanced services and the quality outcomes
framework.
You will participate in activity that supports the Practices
involvement as an active member of Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning
Group.
Any GP joining Bath Row Medical Practice needs to be excited about the
possibility of working with our exceptionally diverse and mobile patients and
be able to work in accordance with our practice ethos. On a practical level, we are seeking doctors
who will be committed to helping us continue to increase our Practice list
size, contribute to our work to maintain
quality standards in primary care, help us develop services targeted at health
promotion and disease prevention and maintaining or increasing patient
satisfaction scores at or above national average levels.
You will be expected to do clinics with face to face consultations,
telephone consultations and home visits and participate in team development
activities.
