6 SESSION SALARIED GP POST
Wonderful opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified
GP to join our friendly well-established practice. We are looking for the right
person to join our enthusiastic team here at Hill Lane Surgery, scoring highly
again in the patient satisfaction survey this year, achieving 85% overall.

Job responsibilities
Usual hours of work 6 sessions over 3
days ideally
Time allocated for administration -Administrative
duties form part of the usual working day. Admin after holidays is set aside the first
day back to work after annual leave for a week or greater. The duration of the
admin time reflects the time on annual leave
Allocation of home visits -Each doctor will
be responsible for home visits requested before 1pm for his or her own
registered patients on the days when in work. After this time and on days when
the registered GP is not at work the HV will be the responsibility of the duty
doctor
Duty doctor or on call doctor sessions frequency,
duties -Duty doctor
responsibilities are shared between all the doctors equally pro-rata over the
whole year. The duty doctor will be required to cover the any emergencies, home
visits, admin or queries raised by patients of doctors not in work on that day.
Meetings that you are expected to attend -All practice
meetings/MDT meetings on working days.
All TARGET
training days when on working days & may opt to work & take TOIL for
other TARGET days
Time allocated for CPD -Annual leave is 8
weeks pro-rata. It is not officially divided into annual holiday & annual
study leave but the Practice expects all clinical staff to fulfil their CPD
education. Appraisals should take place in working time.
