Job summary
We are looking for a warm and enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrator to join our friendly team at Ridge Green Medical Practice.
The position will be well suited to an individual who has previous GP reception/administration experience and is enthusiastic about providing a high-quality patient service with strong communication and administrative skills.
Main duties of the job
1. Speak to patients face to face and via telephone to book appointments and resolve issues. Work with clinical and non clinical staff to provide a safe and effective service to all our registered patients.
2. Typing dictated GP referrals and other letters.
3. Processing patient referrals accurately and meticulously via emails or eRS (Electronic Referral Service) to correct hospital departments on instructions from the GPs.
4. To undertake any other relevant duties as requested by the Practice Manager or Partners.

We are GP practice located in leafy outskirts of West Swindon. We have a diverse team including GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Practice nurses, Physiotherapists and pharmacists.
