Job summary
We are a large, friendly, training practice in Milton Keynes seeking a Practice Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' primary care experience to join our clinical team. It is envisaged that the post will be either be over 4 days or possibly 3 longer days.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have formal training and experience in baby/childhood and adult imms, cervical cytology, asthma & COPD, travel advice and imms, ear irrigation, ECGs, health promotion, phlebotomy and wound care. It is anticipated that the post holder will take the lead in respiratory care and will ideally be trained in taking and interpreting spirometry, or enthusiastic about undertaking this.
About us
Our Nurse Team comprises 3 Practice Nurses, an ANP, 3 extended role HCAs and a Phlebotomist. Other members of the team include 6 GP Partners, a Salaried GP, 2 GP Registrars all ably supported by our amazing administrative team :) We work closely with our PCN colleagues whose clinicians (GPs, pharmacists) hold sessions in our surgery building.

- Practice Nurse Diploma.
