We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Nurse or ANP to lead and support our dynamic nursing team across all our sites.

Main duties of the job

• Key Responsibilities:
  • To lead and support the Nursing Team: Bringing the nursing team together.
  • Leading and arranging team meetings, setting up networking platforms, working with, the nursing team, and encouraging cross-practice support.
  • Ascertain up-to-date skill mix for the nursing team and managing database. Work with the managers and the local Training Hub to upskill nursing staff where needed.
  • As lead nurse organise one-to-one sessions and PDPs identifying skill gaps in clinical and consultation skills.
  • To be the conduit between the nursing team and management, working with both sides to obtain a good supportive working environment.
  • The lead nurse will have weekly one-to-one meetings with management and have full support to make changes where required.
