Main duties of the job
We are looking for a Team Lead to join our friendly GP surgeries
Key responsibilities include -
- Assisting in day-to-day management & supervision of reception staff and their associated tasks
- Ensuring a high-quality patient facing service so patients feel welcomed & cared for
- The effective execution of practice systems and processes for high quality care
- Keeping the building / equipment in order to facilitate a good working environment.
- Work with the central management team and HR managers in Recruitment & performance appraisals.

small group of close-knit surgeries in South East London on a mission to
deliver the best healthcare to our patients. We use a multidisciplinary
approach bringing together GPs, Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacists, Paramedics, Mental
Health Nurses and our non-clinical team to deliver an efficient and effective
service

levels of patient satisfaction (> 4* on Google at all our sites) and low
waiting times, weve been able to grow to over 70,000 patients and we continue
to grow at a rapid pace.
We serve
our patients across 8 CQC Good rated sites in Lambeth, Southwark and
Lewisham, with each site having its own dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Hours: Full Time
Salary: £22,500 £ 29,000 depending on experience

- To be able to delegate work appropriately and be able to deliver both positive and negative feedback
- Strong organisational skills planning and prioritise the various workloads effectively and to meet deadlines without compromising the quality of work
- Ownership and accountability
- Taking pride in your work and the work of the team as well as being proactive in your daily work
- Confident, flexible communicator
- Maintaining a friendly and approachable manner with tact and empathy to enable effective communication with everyone in the practice including patients
Desirable
- Expereience of working with EMIS
- Experience in primary care
- A fast learner and good teacher needing to pick up the processes and systems quickly as they change
- Ability to pass new processes on to the team
- Enthusiastic and confident
- A warm and friendly influencer
- All of the skills you need to be a great receptionist as well
