Healthcare Assistant/Nursing Associate

Job summary

Applications are invited from candidates with the relevant skills and experience, as either a Health Care Assistant or Nursing Associate, to join our busy nursing team at this friendly, progressive and outstanding GP practice. Primary Care and phlebotomy experience are desirable.

Applications are also invited from trainee Nursing Associates in final year of training with experience in primary care.

Main duties of the job

You will work under the supervision of and in liaison with the Practice Nursing team to provide and deliver a high standard of nursing care. You will participate in the care and treatment of patients, working within your levels of training and competency and in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team.

The post is practice-based although your role may occasionally require the provision of care in a patient's home or in a care home.
