Job summary
As a HR Assistant you will be responsible for a variety of HR-related tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee record management and providing support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures. This role is crucial in maintaining a productive and positive working environment.
Main duties of the job
Assist with day-to-day operations and administration
Prepare and manage employee documentation, including contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials
Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and conducting reference and pre-employment checks
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
Support the performance management process and employee relations activities
Attend absence review and performance improvement meetings and prepare detailed minutes of those meetings
Administer pre-employment checks, including identification documents, proof of right to work in the UK, online DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks and references.
