Cannock Villages Network is looking to employ a keen, enthusiastic and experienced Paramedic, to join our growing multi-disciplinary team. We comprise of 11 Practices in and around the Cannock area providing healthcare to over 61,000 patients. We have great access links and are conveniently located near junction 11 of the M6 motorway. It will be an opportunity to work with Allied Health Professionals to enhance the service we offer to our patients. The PCN is committed to supporting the successful candidate in a career in general practice with opportunities to enhance your skills in a primary care setting. Paramedic will provide first point of contact care for patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.

Undertake consultation, ensuring patients receive high quality care, delivered in a timely manner.

Utilising history-taking, physical examinations and clinical decision-making skills to establish a working diagnosis and management plan in partnership with the patient (and their carers where applicable).

Review, analysis and action diagnostic test results.

Undertake visits to care homes and housebound patients for routine and emergency problems.

Maintain accurate and contemporaneous records using the practice clinic system

Work collaboratively across the Health and Social Care sectors and in partnership with patients and/or carers, develop effective, efficient and preventative care plans.
