Nexus Access Hub Co-Ordinator

Job summary

As a result of an organisational restructure the Nexus Health Group has exciting work opportunities. We are currently looking for individuals to join our team as Nexus Access Hub Co-ordinators based at Sir John Kirk Close Surgery and work across the Nexus Health Group.

Main duties of the job

Your main responsibilities will be to assist our patients to access our services in the most effective way possible. You will be responsible for greeting and assisting patients in using our services, ensuring patient enquiries are handled courteously, efficiently and with empathy, undertaking administrative tasks with due care and attention to details and meeting Nexus Key Access Hub Performance Indicators in the standard of service offered to our patients.

You will be supported by and work closely with your team to achieve both individual and organisational objectives/targets. We are a collaborative team, and the post holder may also be called upon to support at other Nexus sites, all based in South East London.

About us

Nexus Health Group was founded in 2016 with the coming together of a number of long established, like-minded GP practices. We are a well-recognised training organisation (for GPs and allied health professionals) serving a diverse list of approximately 80,000 patients from nine practice sites grouped into three geographical clusters which all are based in Southwark.

Each site has an established multidisciplinary team of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Paramedics, Physicians Associates, Nurses, Pharmacists, Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and local administration teams. We are focused on the development of our workforce.

Sites are supported by cluster Clinical Governance Leads and centralised back office functions providing Finance, HR, Administration and Data/IT support. Our organisation is led by our GP Partners and a Senior Management Team. Working with us presents an opportunity to develop and shape services and be involved in Quality Improvements across the organisation.
