Want a job in a supportive training practice where we place equal value on patient care as well as staff well-being and development? Then look no further.

We are flexible about sessions and start date and willing to wait for the right candidate. Ideally we would like Tuesday, Thursday and Friday but this can be negotiated. We would encourage development of personal interests and actively support career and leadership development.

Main duties of the job

We are a purpose-built, well established GMS training practice with a list size of 9K seeking to recruit an enthusiastic GP who shares our commitment to high quality patient-centred care. About us

  • 6 partners, 1 salaried GP. We have a strong focus on equitable work-load sharing and are happy to provide contact details of our salaried colleague for an informal chat. Very low staff turnover (our outgoing salaried doctor was with us for 12 years).
  • Training practice for speciality trainee GPs, F2 trainees and medical students with excellent feedback.
  • Strong collaborative working links within PCN (our partner Dr Hassan is PCN CD), CCG and Federation.
  • MDT support- practice based pharmacist (independent prescriber), mental health link worker, first contact practitioner, medical assistants and care coordinator support all available on the premises.
  • Well managed with strong administrative support and as a result the admin workload for GPs is low.
  • Low home visiting rate
  • High QOF achiever.
  • CQC rated “good” in all areas.
  • Manage 2 residential homes with dedicated weekly ward rounds.
  • EMIS Web, paper light.
  • Weekly educational and clinical meetings
