Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and assisting patients via phone and in person.
  • Booking, amending and cancelling appointment using SystemOne.
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date patient records.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence via email and letters.
  • Confidentiality awareness and understanding of data protection (GDPR)
  • Responsible for completing the receptions related administrations as well as completing day to day tasks.
  • Registering patients on a day to day basis.
  • Actioning prescription requests within 48 hours.
  • Using your own judgement and communication skills to signpost patients as well as booking appointments from urgency.
  • Divert calls and take messages ensuring accuracy and prompt appropriate delivery.
  • Entering requests from home visits.
  • To assist with opening and closing the practice.
