Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished and highly motivated Office Manager to join our established and well respected practice based at Carmel Medical Practice in Darlington. Candidates should have a proven track record in management, with strong leadership skills, preferably in a primary care setting.
Main duties of the job
The role is to support the Partners and Practice Manager to deliver a quality service to our patients through the provision and supervision of an effective and efficient reception service ensuring all functions are carried out in accordance with agreed procedures, protocols and timescales. Day to day supervision and management of admin staff and associated functions, including repeat prescribing.
About us
Carmel Medical Practice is a well established GP surgery with over 11,000 registered patients. Our clinical team comprises of 4 GP Partners,1 salaried GP, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 4 Practice Nurses and 3 HCA's. We also have a well established admin team with 2 secretaries overseen by the Practice Manager and Deputy Practice Manager.
We are now a GP Registrar training practice and also supervise and train Trainee Nurse Associate, student nurses and doctors.
