Thornbury Medical Centre looking for an experienced
Practice Nurse to Lead our nursing team and join our vibrant and friendly
Practice.
We pride ourselves on delivering high quality
holistic care to our patient population and have a culture in learning and
teaching in all we do. We are looking for a forward thinking experienced
Practice Nurse who has the qualifications and/or experience to support our
patients with long term health conditions and be comfortable with the ever-changing
day to day world of General Practice.
Main duties of the job
The Lead Practice Nurse will be responsible for the
management of the practice nursing team, consisting of nurses and HCA.
They will be responsible for several clinical areas
such as infection prevention and control, chronic disease management, health
promotion, as well as supporting the practice management team in the reviewing
and delivery of clinical policy and procedure.
About us
We are an average sized practice with just over 7,000 patients. GPs, Advanced Clinical
Practitioner, Pharmacist, HCA and Physician Associate and other health
professionals.
We have an admin and reception team that supports the clinical
team and patients.
We
are part of Bradford PCN 5 care network and work closely with our neighbouring
practices.
