Main duties of the job
The Practice Business Manager is a key member of the team, expected to demonstrate senior management and leadership qualities.
The successful candidate will also have the ability to identify and implement the Practice's objectives using a combination of personal involvement, motivation of other staff and appropriate delegation.
The post is tasked with assessing organisational performance, developing achievable goals and implementing processes that improve organisational effectiveness and efficiency.
About us
We are a highly respected GMS (General Medical Services) training practice with a list size of approximately 8500 patients. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the most recent full inspection being February 2018 when we were awarded an overall 'Good' rating. Committed to high quality patient care, the practice has consistently high Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) achievement.
The practice has strong team ethic and a clear vision to deliver high quality care, with core values which were developed by the whole health care team, ensuring good communication, compassion and continuity of care. There is a great team ethos within the practice which is described as supportive, inclusive, approachable, motivational, caring and friendly; with open and clear lines of communication. Staff engagement outside of the practice is encouraged with summer family BBQs and Christmas parties. Staff turnover is historically very low
