across one or a maximum of two practices within Central and South Knowsley PCN
Roby Medical Centre (on behalf of Knowsley Central & South
PCN)
We are pleased to offer an
opportunity for a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care
Network (PCN) team. The post is employed by Roby Medical Centre and will be
practice-based, working at one or, depending on working hours, a maximum of two
GP practices within Central and South Knowsley PCN.
You will work as part of an
established pharmacy team, supported by Clinical Pharmacists and the wider
multidisciplinary team.
Both full-time and
part-time working patterns will be considered.

- Supporting medication reviews and medicines reconciliation
- Helping patients understand and use their medicines effectively and safely
- Promoting safe and effective repeat prescribing processes
- Assisting with audits, service improvement projects and prescribing initiatives
- Liaising with community pharmacies and secondary care providers to support continuity of care
- Playing an active role in reducing medicines waste and improving prescribing outcomes
