We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a
qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care Network team, employed
by Roby Medical Centre and based at the welcoming and well-established GP
training practice, Dinas Lane Medical Centre.
Working closely with two experienced clinical pharmacists,
you will play a vital role in helping us deliver safe, effective, and
patient-centred care. This is a highly valued position within the practice
team, with strong clinical support and a genuine focus on learning and
development.
Main duties of the job
You will contribute to a range of medicines optimisation and patient safety initiatives. Your day-to-day work will include:
- Supporting medication reviews and medicines reconciliation
- Helping patients understand and use their medicines correctly
- Promoting safe and effective repeat prescribing processes
- Assisting in audits, service improvement, and prescribing projects
- Liaising with local pharmacies and secondary care to ensure continuity of care
- Playing an active role in reducing medicines waste and improving outcomes
