Job summary
We are currently looking for a full time or two part-time
Medical Receptionists to join our friendly and rural practice. You would be a part
of a well-respected, supportive practice that prides itself on treating all
patients with respect and dignity.
As the first point of contact for our patients,
their families, and visitors,
we are looking for individuals who are calm and professional, who have a
commitment to providing a high-quality service to our patients. As a member of our team, you will need to be
an effective team player, with an ability to work under pressure in an open
minded, proactive, friendly, and efficient manner.
This role requires some flexibility and
an ability to offer additional cover hours at busy periods and to cover for
staff holidays.
Main duties of the job
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure thatallpatients are dealt with in
an efficient and friendly manner when they arrive or telephone the surgery. You
will be responsible for booking appointments, carrying out reception administration tasks and acting as a key link between
the doctors and patients.
Experience is preferred, although any necessary training will be
provided.
The hours for this role are based on
8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Days to be agreed with the successful
applicant. There will also need to be some flexibility required to cover staff
holidays as necessary.
Holidays include bank/public holidays and are calculated on a pro-rata
basis for the number of hours worked.

The Practice is supported by our excellent multidisciplinary team, operating from our purpose-built two-story premises located in Cleobury Mortimer. We provide high quality care to approximately 7156 patients and are a high achieving & well organised practice.
