The post holder will be compassionate

will communicate and work collaboratively with the general practice team to
meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures
within the remit of their competency and NMC The Code (2019).

Main duties of the job
Treatment room Nurse
Wound Care, ECG, Blood Pressure, Cervical Screening and Childhood immunisation.
Diabetes / Asthma/ Contraception and Ring Pessary fitting, is desirable but not essential as full training can be given.

Eye Practice is located on High St (PE6 7UX). The historic village of Eye sits on the edge of the Fens and is accessed via the A47. Peterborough is approximately 5 miles away and a short distance from the other Jenner Healthcare sites.
Thorney Practice is located on Wisbech Road (PE6 0SD). The historic village of Thorney sits approximately 8 miles east of Peterborough city centre, accessed via the A47. It is a short distance from the other Jenner Healthcare sites.
Whittlesey Practice is located on Turners Lane (PE7 1EJ). The town sits on the western edge of the Fens and is approximately 7 miles east of Peterborough on the A605. It is a short distance from the other Jenner Healthcare sites.

- Recognised qualification to diploma level or above
- A demonstrable commitment to professional development
- Experience of working in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct
- Experience of Microsoft Office software
- Experience of dealing with the public/patients
- Experience of multi-skilled approach to Chronic Disease Management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and understanding of current national developments and trends in health care, quality assurance and practice development
