Job summary
An
opportunity has arisen to join Bovey Tracey and Chudleigh Practice. The
practice has an excellent reputation as a friendly, hardworking and high
achieving accredited training practice. The practices have been rated Good by
CQC, with consistent, positive GP patient survey results which demonstrate the
strong patient centred customer focus and efficiency of the teams.
This is a permanent position of up to 36
hours per week. Salary dependent on skill set, experience and qualifications.
Main duties of the job
We are looking to employ and ANP or ACP for 3-4
days with the following skills:
- Masters
degree level in the relevant area of expertise;
- Working
at a masters level aware or equivalent that encompasses the four pillars of
clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research, with
demonstration of core capabilities and area specific clinical competencies;
- Have either graduated from a Centre
for Advancing Practice accredited MSc advanced practice programme or completed
the Centres ePortfolio (supported) Route; both pathways enable eligibility for
an Advanced digital badge issued by the Centre, demonstrating recognised
educational and experiential preparation in advanced practice.
Some of the areas the candidate would be asked
to focus their attention on would be:
- Assess
and triage patients, including same day triage, and as appropriate provide
definitive treatment (including prescribing medications following policy,
patient group directives, NICE (national) and local clinical guidelines and
local care pathways) or make necessary referrals to other members of the
primary care team;
- You
will be responsible for the clinical assessment, treatment and/or referral or
giving advice as appropriate to both adults and children presenting with a wide
spectrum of clinical conditions either at the Practice or while undertaking a Home Visit.

pharmacy team. We have a growing list size of 15,075 and operate from two purpose-built
buildings.
