Job summary

We are a friendly, supportive and well-established semi-rural dispensing practice situated approx. 10 miles from Sheffield City Centre.

Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit a Salaried GP for 5-6 sessions per week to join our team here at Deepcar Medical Centre.

About us

We are a friendly, well respected team of 2 Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 1 ANP, 2 Practice Nurses,1 HCA & 1 Phlebotomist.

Together with our fellow PCN colleagues we employ Physiotherapist, Pharmacist, Social Prescriber, Mental Health Worker, Door 43 health worker.

We have a very low visit rate and ANP & Paramedics also do visits.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Salaried GP 5-6 Sessions per week.

6 weeks annual leave/1 week study pro rota

Salary depending on experience.

Fixed term contract.

5200 patients

Very low visit rate-ANP & Paramedics do visits also.

SystmOne fully computerised

Consistently high QOF achievement

Very manageable workload with pleasant patient cohort.

Location

For any prospective candidates considering moving to the area, there are many beautiful towns and villages which are both accessible to the M1 and the Surgery premises. We are an expanding practice, as another 400 houses being built around a mile away over the next couple of years.

One mile in the other direction, is the prestigious Fox Valley Shopping Centre and housing development, which is attracting people from all over South Yorkshire.

We are very close to junction 35a M1

S10/S11 only 25 minute drive from the practice (as travelling against flow of traffic and also short cuts). Sheffield private school coaches with stop at Deepcar.
