Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time GP to join our friendly team at Old Parsonage Surgery. We are offering 4 sessions per week, with the potential for the right candidate to progress to a partnership in the future.

As a small practice with a strong reputation, we are held in high esteem by our 3,900 patients. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care and building strong relationships with our patients. This is a wonderful opportunity to become a key part of a supportive and dynamic team.

Main duties of the job

As a Salaried GP, you will:

• Provide high-quality care to patients through face-to-face and telephone consultations
• Manage patient referrals, test requests, and associated administration tasks
• Deliver comprehensive primary care, ensuring the highest standard of diagnosis, treatment, and referral where necessary
• Maintain patient confidentiality and work with professionalism and compassion
• Collaborate with community-based healthcare professionals and hospitals
• Stay up-to-date with medical developments, new drugs, and treatments
• Contribute to the ongoing success and positive reputation of our practice
