Job summary
We are looking for an Assistant Practice Manager to join our dynamic and highly motivated team delivering excellent
healthcare for our NHS Surgery
SSP Healths Managers benefit
from our substantial network of back office support functions to allow each to
really focus on patient services and lead the local team of doctors, nurses and
staff.
You will ideally have some
experience in a General Practice setting together with an understanding of the
rapidly changing healthcare environment. Applications will also be welcomed
from non Primary Care Managers who are able to identify transferable skills
that can support our practice.
Excellent interpersonal and
organisational skills together with proven experience in managing people and
monitoring performance targets is required. You must be highly self-motivated,
organised and able to motivate your team.
The ideal candidate will have
excellent leadership skills, be confident with IT and enjoy working flexibly in
a rapidly changing environment.
You will have the aptitude to
support practice engagement with the wider health economy as required, such as
local Primary Care Networks, local practice manager networks and community care
providers, to ensure that we are consistently kept aware of best practice and
new developments.
