Job summary
Full and
part-time GP vacancies with worklife balance as the primary goal.
Ideal for
experienced GPs looking for a change, newly qualified GPs looking to work in a
supported environment or GPs keen to explore portfolio options.
We offer
opportunities for flexible working and career development should you choose or
traditional general practice and secure income if you prefer.
Main duties of the job
If you join
SSP Health, you will be working as a community GP providing clinical care in a
strong, friendly team with other healthcare professionals – including
pharmacists and ANPs as well as working collaboratively as part of the PCNs we
are involved in. We also have highly-efficient admin teams and central
support that allows our doctors to focus on what they trained to do – treat and
care for patients. There are opportunities for leadership without the
full responsibility of partnerships.
The
successful applicant will be fully qualified, be motivated to provide excellent
patient care and want to develop clinical services with teamwork as a priority.
We want to hear from newly qualified GPs as well as experienced doctors and
those with skills to deliver enhanced services.
With a keen
focus on developing our teams, we offer an excellent in-house continuing
professional development scheme to support appraisal and revalidation and
portfolio career options. We encourage and support our GPs to follow special
interests including training practice status, gynaecological services and minor
surgery. Advice, leadership and guidance from senior GPs together with
local Lead GPs who are readily available to support.
About us
As the
biggest provider of GP services in the North West, we are proud to have 40+
surgeries all rated by the CQC as either ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’.
SSP Health
cares for over 155,000 patients. We pioneered federated practice almost 20
years ago, allowing us to innovate to both improve patient care and enhance the
wellbeing of our GPs.
But it is
not just us saying this, we have won many awards over the years, and recently
won Clinical Improvement for Chronic Conditions GP Practice Award and were
finalists at the HSJ Awards.
We are a
licensed Tier 2 sponsor so warmly welcome fully qualified GPs from around the
world.
