Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic practice nurse to join the fantastic team at Greenridge Surgery.
Main duties of the job
Our ideal candidate would be experienced in all areas of general practice nursing, childhood immunisations, cervical screening, and chronic disease management. We are looking for somebody who will work confidently and autonomously within practice policies, while being confident to seek advice or consult colleagues when necessary. However experienced you are we will ensure you are well supported.
We are though, more interested in the right person than ticking every box; we are happy to consider applications from registered nurses seeking to move into Practice Nursing. If you are new to General Practice we will fund your fundamentals course along with the other training you will need to grow into your new role.
We will pay you fairly, and give you decent annual leave and conditions. (27 days + bank holidays for newly qualified, increasing with length of service). A relocation package is available where appropriate.
About us
We work extremely closely with our sister practice Poplar road Surgery; there are a number of jointly appointed clinical and managerial staff. The nursing and HCA teams across the two sites work together and support each other. This means there is scope to develop particular interests, and a strong team ethos.
Greenridge is a well regarded practice in Billesley, with a growing list. We have a full complement of permanent GP staff (several of whom did their GP training with us), along with paramedics, and prescribing pharmacists. If you would like to have an informal discussion about the role before applying, please contact us.
