Practice Manager

Job summary

General Practice is constantly evolving to meet the demands of a changing NHS and our Partners are proactive and caring GP's who are determined to be at the forefront of this. We have recently moved to a new purpose built Medical Centre with a treatment room, 10 clinical rooms and a surgical suite complete with recovery area for day case procedures.

We are looking to recruit a Practice Manager who is able to continue to drive the practice to continue to achieve proactive and holistic care for its patients as it expands. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and forward thinking, with well developed and professional interpersonal skills. They would also have had managerial experience within General Practice either from working previously as an Assistant Practice Manager and looking to take the next step up with the right support in place or previous experience as a Practice Manager.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role are to lead and coordinate all parts of the practice team to ensure the Practice is running all services that it offers smoothly on a day to day basis with support from the Practice Partners. It is also to liaise with the relevant organisations that are either supporting or working with the Practice on various projects including developing new services for our patients from its new purpose built premises within the village.

About us

Ratby Surgery is a small but expanding GP Practice that moved into purpose built premises in November 2023. Our list size of over 5,400 patients is rapidly growing due largely to patients satisfaction with the care they are receiving from our dedicated staff within all areas of the practice and our modern facilities.

We have three GP Partners, two salaried GP's, two Practice Nurses and several additional roles through the PCN ARRS roles scheme including three Clinical Pharmacists, two Social Prescribers, a Health and Wellbeing Coach and a First Contact Physiotherapist.

The Medical Centre also includes a pharmacy adjoining the practice and a private dentist.
