Job summary

Cwmtawe Medical Group are able to offer new exciting posts to be part of a forward thinking team pushing the boundaries of 21st century primary care. The job would entail working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside pharmacists, ANPs, paramedics and fellow GPs. We would welcome applications from newly qualified or experienced GP’s. The group are able to offer several enhanced services to our patients and would allow doctors the chance to learn new skills while working.

Main duties of the job

A key member of the team, the Salaried GP will deal with the usual wide range of acute and chronic health care needs in a primary care setting. The post holder will work with clinical colleagues in ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients. Also is expected to support and input into the aims of the practice in areas of clinical governance, good practice, quality outcomes framework, enhanced services, practice audit. The post holder will also be involved in planning and decision making as part of the practice team. 

About us

We operate across 3 sites, Clydach Primary Care Centre, Llys Meddyg and New Cross Surgery. Our team of GPs are supported by Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Practice Pharmacists,  Physiotherapist, Group Manager, Operations Manager and a team of administrative/clerical and dispensing.
