We are Suffolk Primary Care a Partnership of 8 practices that
delivers care to 90,000 patients across Suffolk.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Practice Administrator to
join our fabulous team at Debenham Group Practice covering Debenham, Otley and Grundisburgh
Surgeries. We are a friendly, innovative and exciting GP practice which prides
itself on outstanding patient care, excellent patient access and good systems
to support our clinicians.
Main duties of the job
The Practice Administrator will be responsible for the surgeries IT, and support and work closely with the Practice Operations Manager and the wider practice team with all various administrative duties. This is a very exciting and varied role and would ideally suit someone who likes a challenge. If this is you we would love to hear from you.
Previous experience of working within a GP practice environment and a working knowledge of SystmOne would be a definite advantage.

Job Summary
The Senior Practice Administrator
role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Practice
Operations Manager. They are also responsible for any other various
administrative duties required and will be accountable to the Practice
Operations Manager and Partners.
They work closely with the
Practice Operations Manager to meet agreed partnership aims and objectives
within a profitable, efficient, safe and effective working environment and
maintaining a happy and committed team.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible
for clinical rotas and AskmyGP management.
Organising
locum cover for annual leave and sickness.
Organise
staff team rotas and their annual leave/cover.
Carry
out appraisals for some administrative staff.
Overseeing
mandatory training for all staff.
Undertaking
audits as required for the practice.
Action
emails as directed by the Practice Operations Manager.
Provide
administrative support to team leads, managers etc.
Good
SystmOne knowledge and I.T. experience for troubleshooting computers, printers
& telephone system issues.
Assist with inductions and
programmes of work for new staff including locum staff.
Organise agendas and meetings
as directed by the Practice Operations Manager.
Ensure all complaints and incidents are correctly
recorded within Datix and to run and document Practice Learning Event meetings.
Supporting projects.
Encourage and support
personal development of members of the administration team.
Researching and
ordering equipment and supplies as required.
Any other administrative
duties the practice feel is relevant to the role.
