Job summary
Combs Ford Surgery is looking to appoint a Practice Nurse for 2 days per week, with a
range of Chronic Disease Management, ideally able to specialize in Asthma and
Diabetes, with skills to complement our existing clinical team. We can offer you
the opportunity to work with a well-established, experienced clinical team
supported by excellent reception and administrative staff; all committed to
providing high quality primary health care. If you are a patient centered,
practice focused individual we would like to hear from you. Open to all
experienced PNs but would consider those new to the role with a minimum of 5
years post registration experience.

Shortlisting will take place on 6th July with interviews on 12th July.
The interview panel will consist of 2 people.
Main duties of the job
Provide general and specific
Health assessment and
screening to the practice population (within agreed protocols)
with referral to general practitioners as necessary.
Advise patients on general
health and minor ailments with referral to general practitioners as necessary
Provide nursing treatments to
patients in participation with general practitioners or independently to agreed
protocols.
Implement a systematic
approach to care, to include efficient and accurate record keeping for the
benefit and safety of patients/clients, continuity of care and professional
security.

undertaken. The post holder will work in accordance with NMC Code of Conduct.
