Job summary
The Adam Practice is seeking a new salaried GP to work clinically at our Hamworthy Surgery, for 6 (perm) and 1 (12 month fixed term) sessions per week.

The Practice location combines easy access to the wonderful Dorset countryside, whilst being very close to the edge of Poole town and is in a highly desirable area to live and work in.
The Practice is managed by a capable and efficient centralised Management Team, and we are key members of the Poole Central Primary Care Network with various staff and clinicians directly involved in or leading on PCN work.

Post is offered on a permanent contract of the following sessions:
Wednesday AM (08:30 start) & PM (18:30 finish)
Thursday AM (08:30 start) & PM (18:30 finish)
Friday AM (08:30 start) & PM (18:30 finish)
Total hours - 27
With 1 additional session (To be confirmed) on a fixed term 12 month contract.
Main duties of the job
We have extensive involvement in training and education including overseas and elective students and supporting the development of our own staff. We welcome applications from candidates who might bring any further new opportunities our way.

We successfully combine efficiencies of scale with localised continuity and high quality care on individual surgery sites, whilst using a total triage appointment system to ensure acute patients are seen in a timely manner. We have the benefit of nearly 40 years of experience as a large multi-site Practice, providing a secure and stable environment to work in.
