Job summary

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Physician Associate to join our growing multidisciplinary primary care team. You will work alongside our team of doctors and nurses to provide high quality patient care. This permanent position is offered on a full-time basis of around 37.5 hours per week, worked over 5 days. Protected learning time, CPD, and support from a dedicated GP supervisor will be provided to help you flourish within the role. Main duties of the job

With support from your dedicated GP supervisor, you will provide care for the presenting patient from focused history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills for patients within the service. You will demonstrate critical thinking in the decision making process. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to meet the needs of the patients and support the delivery of policy and procedures. You will provide a holistic and clinical service, with support and supervision from GPs, implementing agreed management plans and following approved protocols as appropriate. They should be enthusiastic and motivated to develop their knowledge and skills to improve patient care in general practice.

About us

Hampton Medical Centre was established in the 1930s and has a patient population of 12,000. The Practice is situated on a single, purpose built site, which has evolved over the years. We are based in a large suburban leafy location, with easy parking, close to the train station and excellent schools. We have a friendly team of Doctors, Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacist, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and First Contact Physiotherapists. We are also a training practice for GP Trainees and Medical Students. We have successfully operated with a Physicians Associate and value the expertise they bring to our growing team.
