Main duties of the job

1. Patient Check-In and Check-Out: Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice, check them in for their appointments, and assist with any necessary paperwork. Efficiently manage patient check-out processes, including scheduling follow-up appointments and processing payments.

2. Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate appointments for patients, ensuring that scheduling is organized and efficient. Respond to appointment inquiries by phone, email, or in person, and make necessary adjustments to the schedule as needed.

3. Patient Registration and Records Management: Accurately enter patient information into our electronic medical records system, ensuring that all details are up-to-date and complete.

4. Telephone and Email Communication: Handle incoming calls and emails from patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders. Provide information, answer inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel as necessary.

5. General Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to healthcare providers and other staff members as needed. This may include photocopying documents, filing paperwork, and performing other clerical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.

6. Patient Assistance and Support: Offer compassionate assistance and support to patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for during their visit.
