We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated GP to join
our well-established, dynamic, and forward-thinking practice. We welcome
applications from experienced GPs as well as those recently qualified.
We support and encourage personal development, special interests,
and value humour in our close-knit team. We have won a national award for our
management of diabetes and we run dedicated clinics for long-term conditions. We
run a digital triage system and patients are booked with appropriate clinicians.
We prefer our patients benefit from continuity of care and therefore we would
encourage our clinicians to follow up patients as appropriate.
Main duties of the job
In this multifaceted role, the professional conducts both telephone and face-to-face consultations, diagnosing and treating diverse medical conditions while prescribing necessary medications. They provide comprehensive advice on general health, lifestyle, and disease prevention. Specializing in Chronic Disease Management, they create and implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and promote health through education. Emergency care involves rapid responses and collaboration with healthcare peers. Team collaboration is pivotal, involving close coordination with support staff and participation in multidisciplinary meetings. Administrative duties encompass meticulous record-keeping and engagement in practice-related tasks. Continuous professional development ensures currency in medical advancements, with participation in peer review and clinical audits. Commitment to quality improvement includes adherence to safety standards and contributions to achieving clinical indicators and enhanced services.

Strong supportive administrative team with safe and efficient processes managing clinical documents and prescriptions. The workflow is kept to a minimum for our clinicians.
