Job summary

We are a friendly, supportive GP practice dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to our local community. We are looking for a Patient Administrator / Receptionist to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring our patients receive an efficient and welcoming service.

Main duties of the job

  • Be the first point of contact for patients, providing a professional and friendly service both in person and by telephone.

  • Manage patient appointments: booking, amending, and cancelling via the practice system.

  • Register new patients and update medical records accurately.

  • Process repeat prescriptions and support clinical staff with administrative tasks.

  • Handle correspondence, scanning, filing, and general office duties.

  • Ensure confidentiality and data protection requirements are always met.
