Job summary
We are looking for a competent part-time Receptionist, with a minimum experience of 1 year within NHS GP services or another
similar role.
You will need to be able to work within a busy team
environment but also to use your own initiative and work on your own when
necessary.
You will ideally need a good working knowledge of NHS focused
software, SystmOne. You will be dealing with patients, as well as
outside agencies, accessing the service both on the telephone and face to face, therefore you will need to have good communication skills.
Main duties of the job
- To have Systm1 experiece
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly
manner.
- Able to deal with patient queries in an empathetic and
sensitive manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate team
member
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and
organizing documents - Manage office inventory
- Scheduling appointments for patients
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned.
