North Devon Coastal PCN are looking for an organized and detail-oriented professional with a drive for administrative excellence. We're looking for a dedicated PCN Coordinator (25-30 hours per week - to be discussed at interview), to provide vital administrative and coordination support to our Primary Care Network (PCN). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations, supporting the leadership team, and facilitating communication and collaboration across multiple GP practices.
Your primary focus will be providing comprehensive administrative support, including coordinating meetings, managing diaries, taking minutes, and preparing agendas. You'll also assist in the development and implementation of PCN initiatives and projects, including gathering data, preparing reports, and supporting the management team with key tasks like project coordination and service promotion.
Additionally, you will play an essential role in data administration, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, performing patient searches, and assisting with the collection and analysis of data for reporting purposes. Your contribution will be key to maintaining accurate systems and databases, supporting new starters and leavers, and improving health outcomes for patients.
Main duties of the job
The PCN Coordinator will provide essential administrative support to the PCN leadership team and wider teams, assisting with scheduling, diary management, and minute-taking for meetings. You will support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of PCN initiatives, gathering relevant data and offering administrative assistance to ensure successful project execution.
You will play a key role in facilitating communication across the network, ensuring consistent messaging and policy standardisation while liaising with GP practice administration teams. Organising and facilitating PCN meetings, including preparing agendas, booking venues, and distributing minutes, will also be part of your responsibilities.
Collaborating with the PCN Strategic Digital and Transformation Manager, you will help enhance the networks digital communication channels, including social media and website updates. Additionally, you will assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting for PCN projects, ensuring full compliance with data protection regulations.
In this role, you will also coordinate vaccination programmes across the GP practices, support the maintenance of key databases, and provide IT administrative support, such as troubleshooting and setting up systems for new starters. Finally, you will assist with audits and ensure operational compliance with relevant regulations, including GDPR and data protection policies.

PCN Coordination
Provide administrative and coordination support
to the PCN leadership team and wider PCN teams.
Support the implementation of initiatives and
projects though timely and relevant information gathering analysis,

To work with the PCN leadership team to ensure
policies and/or communication are standardised across the PCN.
Coordinate and where appropriate, facilitate
meetings for the PCN, including diary co-ordination, managing invites, booking
locations, preparing agendas, minute taking and distribution of these to
relevant stakeholders.
Support the management team in successful
planning, implementing, evaluation and promoting projects and services across
the PCN.
Liaising with administration teams from the
three GP practices regarding projects, sharing ideas, collating responses and
disseminating information.
To work with the PCN Strategic Digital and Transformation
Manager on promoting and enhancing the PCNs digital communication, including
social media and website updates.
Work with the PCN Strategic Digital and
Transformation Manager to assess the PCNs digital maturity and assist in the
development and implementation of new digital innovation and tools.
Support the management team with the
coordination of rotas, appointments and the promotion of PCN services.
Be a point of contact and provide support for
the individual PCN Teams and members where needed.
Influence, lead and support the development of
excellent relationships and collaborative working across the network.
Support the PCN Leadership team in the
organisation and coordination of the PCN AGM and shut down afternoons.
Data and IT administration
Support the management team with data collection
and analysis.
To complete IT searches consisting of but not
limited to TPP Systmone and EMIS patient searches and reporting for PCN work
including the Investment and Impact Fund (IIF) and other areas of Network
Contact Directed Enhanced Service.
Building reports, collating and analysising data
for and on behalf of practices within the PCN and for PCN projects and ongoing
service development.
To work with the PCN Strategic and Transformation
Manager to ensure the PCN complies with all data protection/GDPR regulations
which includes the production and implementation of DPIAs, DSAs etc.
Develop and maintain databases required for the
role.
Supporting new starters and leavers including
organising induction timetables, setting up IT and access to systems and
troubleshooting for all PCN staff with IT issues.
Coordinate and lead in audits and monitoring of
key indicators.
PCN Wide Vaccination Programme Coordination
Coordinating, in conjunction with the PCN
