Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the PCN Executive Team to lead Strategic
and Transformation initiatives across the PCN to enable At-Scale development at
Locality Level and to support and develop overall sustainability of General
Practice. This individual will lead operational
& organisational support and guidance to enable the Network to meet its
agreed aims and objectives. To coordinate and
directly support delivery of transformation activity within the PCN. Developing strong
relationships with PCN Member Practices and Locality PCNs and lead planning
and implementation for improvements which will provide benefits to patients and
staff.
You will be working alongside
the Clinical Director (CD), PCN Operational Manager, Lead Practice Managers and the rest of the Northern
Devon Coastal (NDC) team.

The role will be part of the NDC PCN Executive Team and will play a significant role in driving and implementing the PCN's Strategic Plan as directed by the PCN Board.
Provide strategic leadership to the PCN, developing and implementing strategic plans, leading and supporting quality improvement and performance across member practices.
Policy and service development - to offer expertise and understanding interpreting national and system wide policy developments and initiatives within local circumstances and context.
Financial management and budget - liaising with the Finance Lead and accountants and assisting with the yearly budget. To oversee the ARRS funding and submissions.
Contractual and management implementation - to oversee the PCN contracts and to manage and report performance.
Project management - to lead on developing, bidding and operational management of new projects for the network. Develop support and deliver local improvement programmes aligned to national and local priorities.
About us
North
Devon Coastal Primary Care Network consists of three practices Combe Coastal
Practice (Ilfracombe and its branch surgeries at Combe Martin and Woolacombe),
South Molton Medical Centre and Caen Medical Centre which covers a patient
population size of approximately 45,000.
The PCN is continuing to expand with a current workforce of around 22 WTE roles across the network. Services include Pharmacy Team with Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, Paramedics, Health and Wellbeing Team and MSK First Contact Physios.
