Job summary

Are you looking for an office-based, non-patient facing General Practitioner role? Do you have extensive experience in leading clinical teams and dealing with on call duties?

We are currently seeking an experiencedClinical Lead General Practitionerwho holds significant experience in leading clinical teams. Working closely with our Senior Management Team, ANPs and APs you will be based from our offices in the market town of Hinckley with a very supportive, experienced team.

Main duties of the job

ThisClinical Lead General Practitionerposition is a new role, identified during the rapid growth of the company and will require you to carry out a variety of duties including;

  • Overseeing clinicians within our 12 GP Practices across the UK
  • Overseeing the clinical functions of the Practices and working with the Management Team to make improvements, share ideas, etc.
  • Dealing with on-call duties from our office such as urgent tasks, urgent pathology queries, urgent queries from Reception staff on the ground etc.
  • Dealing with various healthcare professionals

As ourClinical Lead General Practitioner,you will be required to provide managerial oversite and carry out your duties across 12 GP Practices whilst working in conjunction with our Management Team so must hold the relevant experience and skills in order to strive in this role.

  • Qualified GP Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent
  • JCPTGP General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
  • Full GMC Registration National Performers List registration
  • Appropriate defence indemnity Eligibility to practice in the UK independently

Desirable

  • MRCGP

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working in a primary care environment
  • Experience of continued professional development

  • Experience of QOF and clinical audit
  • Experience of medicines management
