Job summary

Saxonbury House Medical Group is looking to recruit an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work as a key member of the clinical team.

Main duties of the job

Mixed clinics to provide first point of contact for patients presenting with a variety of clinical problems depending on the experience and skills mix of the applicant. There will also be the opportunity to enhance knowledge of Chronic disease management, undertake domiciliary visits and also disease prevention assessments.

About us

We are a long established GP surgery providing Primary Care Services to the Crowborough area in East Sussex. We have a patient population of over 9500 patients with 4 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs,(currently) 1 GP registrar, 1 ANP, 1 Paramedic Practitioner, 3 Nurses, 3 HCAs , 2 First Contact Physios, a Social Prescriber and 4 Care co-ordinators . We are looking to expand and take on an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who will become an integral part of our clinical team.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Level 1 Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Evidence of on-going learning
  • Degree or MSc in Advanced Practice or credentialing through recognised courses by the NMC. evidence of accumulation of relevant experience knowledge.
  • Physical assessment and clinical reasoning. Non Medical Prescribing.

Desirable

  • Physical assessment and clinical reasoning in respect of paediatrics.
