Job summary

******* PLEASE NO AGENCY ENQUIRIES *********

We are a mid sized practice (7800 Patients) based in Prescot, Merseyside.

A locum who worked for us recently left us this feedback;

"Can I just say - Park House - what a gorgeous practice! Dr Patrick and Dr Mohammadi were just brilliant. Dr Mohammadi went out and bought us all costa coffee, how nice is that?! What a beautiful place. It was so lovely. Just absolutely fabulous. Please tell them all the staff were delightful. Patrick even said thank you and that it was lovely to have met me - you never get that lovely treatment! All patients were appropriate too.. And I was delighted to see that huge monster of a Tesco just outside (You don't get those in Wales!) which was very handy to get my prosecco on the way home!! I'll happily go back any time they want me."

We literally are a lovely place to work - you will be supported by a fabulously experienced administration and reception team, plied with coffee, tea and treats and generally hero worshipped regularly :-)

Informal visits are welcomed - just contact the Practice Manager Nicola Raby, to arrange.

Main duties of the job

You will be required to see/treat 15 patients per session. Session start and finish times can be worked around your personal circumstances although we will require you to stay until 6.30pm on one day per week.

We offer a range of consultation styles. Our appointments are a mix of online, telephone & in person at the Surgery.

You will be required to sign at least 30 EPS per day

You will be required to deal with at least 15 Clinical Letters per day.

About us

We are a great practice, made up of a very experienced, friendly clinical team consisting of:

2 x Partners

2 x PT Salaried GP's

1 x ANP

2 x Practice Nurses

1 x HCA

The Clinical team are supported by a fabulous Admin & Reception team who, as well as making a fierce cuppa, are on hand to deal with your every whim or IT dilemma. We are very much a family and have a very low turnover of staff. Our former Senior Partner retired last year with over 40 years of Service at the Practice - we want to remain a family focussed service as much as we can. Locums, whilst extremely useful and needed in these current times, aren't able to give our patients that familiarity they crave which is where you come in.

The benefits of working at such a family friendly practice are unlimited. Need to nip out to pick the kids up from school? No problem. Need a later start to drop them off or to go to the gym? That's fine too. We understand the value of a healthy work/life balance and pride ourselves on working together to make all our lives easier. Plus the big Tesco is 100 yards away - what more could you want?

The Practice will pay you a very generous salary (dependant on experience), 6 weeks paid annual leave plus bank holidays, 1 week study leave and your medical indemnity.
