Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our friendly, supportive practice in Plymouth.

We are ideally seeking a qualified Nurse for this Advanced Clinical Practitioner role, to provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. To work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.

We are offering 6-8 sessions per week, exact hours to be discussed/decided. The position is at band 8a with an hourly rate between £25.99-£31.39 dependent on experience.

We offer 6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.

Main duties of the job

Main responsibilities

Assess,diagnose,plan,implementandevaluatetreatment/interventionsandcareforpatientspresentingwithanundifferentiateddiagnosis.

Clinicallyexamineandassesspatientneedsandplanclinicalcareaccordingly.

We are a well-established training practice with 5 GP partners, 3 Salaried GPs and a GP Retainer who currently care for a population of nearly 11500 patients. We have a dynamic clinical team approach to providing excellent service to our patients, comprising Practice Nurses, ANP, Advanced HCAs, phlebotomists, Pharmacist and Physiotherapist.

Essential

  • Qualified Nurse
  • Msc in nursing or working towards this.

Desirable

  • Be a registered nurse with an active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

Experience
