GP Receptionist

Job summary

We are looking for a part time receptionist for maternity cover (with a view to a permanent role for the right candidate) for our friendly, helpful reception team.

There may also be an additional part time role available on a permanent basis.

Experience of working in a GP Practice is preferred but full training will be offered.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role are:

Helping and supporting patients both in person and on the phone.

Answering telephone calls and booking appointments.

Using EMIS, our computerised patient system.

Admin duties including completion of tasks, sorting and opening post and dealing with queries.
