Main duties of the job
We
are looking for a Business Support Assistant to work within our Primary Care
Network, to provide comprehensive business and administration support, working
alongside our Business Manager, Clinical Director, and wider PCN team. You wont be on your own.
We want to hear from people who have a proven
track record in Financial and HR administration, office management, including
property and contracts liaison, IT logistics, data input, developing procedures
and setting up new services for our local population. This is a varied role, requiring a diverse
skill mix and therefore you should have passion and creativity to help shape
and build our exciting, new, holistic services for North Kerrier East Primary
Care Network

Kerrier East Primary Care Network (PCN) support Veor Surgery and Leatside Health Centre, with a local population of just under 30,000. We provide
primary care services to people living in the towns of Redruth and Camborne, as
well as surrounding villages, working collaboratively with our local partners. We
have a strong focus on health promotion and personalised care, supporting
people to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing. We are a

The PCN Business Support Assistant is an integral part of supporting the development of and operational management of the PCN.
Primary duties and areas of responsibility:
Support the PCN Business Manager with HR and Financial administration;
- Processing and paying invoices;
- Online banking reconciliations;
- HR administration.
Line management of the Care Coordination team.
Support the PCN Business Manager with the development of policies and procedures, for the PCN workforce teams in collaboration with practices.
Support the PCN Business Manager with the overview of contracts, SLAs and MOUs ensuring compliance with DPA and Governance.
Support the PCN Business Manager to set up systems to be compliant with legislation.
Support the PCN Business Manager with new service developments working in partnership with practices.
Support the PCN Business Manager with the day to day running of the PCN and associated infrastructure eg IT/Phones/Estates/team support/minuting meetings.
Deputise in periods of absence.
