Job summary

Based in Gloucestershire. A position has arisen within our Primary Care Network for an Data Quality Support Manager. We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person, passionate about the opportunities to improve our Network’s health through the application of technology and utilisation

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of our data Quality Improvement projects. This will include supporting practices in the network to input, interpret and utilise Population health management .

Severn Health PCN is made up of Seven GP practices which are based in Stroud, Gloucestershire with a patient population of approx. 43,000. The PCN is busy, energetic and has a clear vision on tackling health inequalities in an ever-changing environment within our semi-rural

Please see attatched documents for full details 1. Lead Data Quality rojects within wider QI program towards successful completion 2. Support practices to interpret and understand data/IIF indicators 3. Reviewing the data and working with practices to implement systems to hit our Impact and Investment indicator targets. 4. Support practices and projects with web design as required 5. Act as Agilio Team Net Champion and be superuser and train others 6. Support with Population Health Management deep dives/ data reporting 7. Act as Severn Health PCN representative at CCG IT meetings 8. Investigate and implement solutions for streamlined PCN level reporting 9. Deliver update briefings at PCN and Practice Manager Meetings where requested. 10. Work with stakeholders to scope and define workstreams 11. Identify IT and data quality related risks/issues, apply mitigations and escalate where appropriate

Qualifications

Essential

  • A-level (or equivalent qualification) and/or relevant experience within IT/quality data management.
  • Experience in participating within project delivery and/or interrogating clinical systems
  • A good level of knowledge of modern IT infrastructure and applications
  • Good working knowledge of current Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems and software
  • Ability to solve problems and create imaginative solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical teams/individuals
  • The ability to inspire & motivate others
  • Accurate with attention to detail
  • Training and mentoring skills
  • Ability to plan own workload and co-ordinate a variety of tasks
  • Ability to sustain periods of close concentration
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Travel across network/car user
  • Vision/Imagination

Desirable

  • Relevant Degree or Masters in IT Field or equivalent relevant experience;
  • Current working knowledge of IT systems in a healthcare environment/clinical systems
  • A good understanding of governance within the NHS.
