SALARIED GPs REQUIRED TO COVER UP TO 10 SESSIONS
This
is a diverse role within a busy but friendly GP practice. The post holders will work
alongside the medical team dealing with both chronic and acute patients, taking
part in the on call rota.
Main duties of the job
- Manage patients presenting with a range of acute and chronic medical conditions, providing advice to patients, making any necessary referrals for investigations
- Implement and evaluate individual specialised treatment plans for chronic disease patients
- Visit patients in their home, investigate, diagnose, plan and implement a package of care.
- Work as part of a clinical team comprising GPs, ACP, Practice Nurses, and HCAs supported by a full range of administrative staff.
- Responsibility for own admin including but not limited to: requesting and filing blood tests, referral letters, hospital letters received, repeat prescription requests
- Whilst the successful candidates will work autonomously there is a clear structure for support, supervision and guidance as required however it is the clinicians responsibility to remain up to date with their training and personal and professional development.

The clinical staff of 2 GP Partners, 3
Salaried GPs, 3 Practices Nurses and 2 Healthcare Assistants are well
supported by a highly motivated, experienced administrative team.
We are based in fantastic new purpose built
premises in a vibrant, leafy suburb of East Leeds with easy access to M1 and
M62.
Start date Ideally from February 2024
