To fulfil the reception and dispensing needs of this
busy medical practice.
We require an experienced and qualified dispenser to work in both our dispensary and to carry out an adminitrative role including working on reception.
We have a vacancy for full time 37.5 per week but for the right person may consider part time or a job share.
Main duties of the job
Administrator Duties:
Responsible for: 1.
Patient and other general enquiries
2. Requests for repeat prescriptions
3. Requests for home visits
4. Management of medical records
5. Operation of telephone system
6. Arranging appointments for nursing sessions
7. Arranging appointments for referrals, x-rays
etc.
8. General maintenance of reception area
9. Cash management of petty cash
10. Scanning material onto the
computer
Dispensing Duties:
Responsible for: 1.
Daily dispensing of drugs through consultations and
repeat prescriptions
2. Ordering of drugs and associated items
3.
Dosette boxes
3. Stock control
4. Unpacking and checking drug orders against
invoices
5. Cash management of prescription charges
