Job summary

We have an opening for a fun-loving Salaried GP at our practice in North East London, serving a mixed demographic of patients.

You will be working alongside 2 other GP's and a Nurse Prescriber in this friendly supportive practice with excellent support staff.

We are looking for someone to work between 6 to 8 sessions per week, one of which will be remote working from home.

TIER 2 SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE.

Salary: £11,000 plus per session/year.

Contract: Model BMA Contract, 6-8 sessions/week, no extended hours.

Working Arrangement: A mixture of on-site and remote working.

EMIS Web: Utilised for practice management.

Home Visits: Low home visit rate.

Support: Supported by a Nurse Prescriber and a full suite of ARRS staff.

Main duties of the job

Job Purpose:

To deliver high-quality clinical care to patients within Seymour Medical Centre.

Main Tasks - Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide clinical care to patients through face-to-face and telephone consultations, including managing workflow (correspondence, results, medication reviews, reports, and clinical administration).

Engage in safeguarding work, home visits, surgery meetings, and on-call duties.

Adhere to GMC standards, prioritising individual patient care.

An understanding of how to always improve patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, and KPI targets.

Work closely with the surgery team, participating in practice team meetings.

Keep personal mandatory and organisational training up to date, including all requirements for revalidation

Uphold professional standards and act as an ambassador for Seymour Medical Centre.

Person Specification:

Current registration with GMC and active engagement in clinical practice.

Experienced doctor with GP accreditation.

MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.

Strong knowledge of medical practice principles and values.

Excellent organisational skills.

Outstanding interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Dedicated to delivering quality, patient-focused services.

Demonstrated record of continuous professional development.

Ability to work independently when necessary.

We are a 7000 patient practice in a busy part of NE London.

We have an excellent team of clinical and non-clinical staff who all work well together, supporting each other.

Monthly practice meetings with all staff take place, with lunch provided by the practice.

Fortnightly clinical meetings take place with clinical staff.
