Job summary
Caereinion Medical Practice are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Dispenser to join our friendly pharmacy team on a full time basis.
You must have an NVQ2 in Dispensing/Pharmacy Services (or equivalent), excellent communication and people skills, good IT skills and with a healthcare background.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for dispending and checking all medicines dispensed, safely and accurately and in line with dispensary procedures
Maintaining stock levels within the dispensary and ordering from suppliers as needed
Receiving and storing supplies in accordance with current policy.
Ensuring controlled drugs are dispensed with in accordance with practice policy
Safe disposal of returned and / or out of date medicines
Ensuring all repeat prescriptions are processed in a timely manner and in
accordance with SOP.
Process prescription requests via email, phone, fax, face-to-face and online
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
Maintain accurate records at all times, read coding entries appropriately
