Job summary

Dr Jehangir's Surgery in Nelson are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to become an integral part of our Nursing Team. Please contact us if you wish to find out more about the role on the email address provided. Previous Practice Nurse experience is essential.

Main duties of the job

This role would suit someone who is willing to work flexibly across our opening hours ensuring all QOF and other targets are met and who has a keen interest in driving quality improvement and clinical audit, thus ensuring the wellbeing of all our patients.

We are a small friendly practice based in Nelson, Lancashire. The practice consists of an innovative multi-disciplinary team providing care for 2,700 patients.

Job Summary

To be responsible for the delivery of practice nursing services, delivering care within their scope of practice to the patient population of Lancashire. The practice nurse will be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as health promotion, chronic disease management, health prevention, care plans, clinical audits etc., as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policies and procedures.
