Job summary
The Lindum Medical practice is a busy surgery based in uphill Lincoln. We are part of the Imp Primary Care Network covering Lincoln City and North which consists of 9 practices.
Lindum is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to lead the Primary Care nursing team within the practice. We are looking for a keen individual with a “can do approach” who will support the nursing team whilst at the same time respecting the needs of the management team to ensure delivery of core services and develop new initiatives.
Ideally applicants should be skilled in the supervision and delivery of a wide range of services as an autonomous primary care nurse i.e., Chronic disease management (asthma, COPD, Diabetes etc).
Some experience as team lead would be an advantage and we are looking for someone with the flexibility and enthusiasm to embrace new initiatives as they come along and acquire new skills. Whilst working in the practice predominately there will be the opportunity to be involved in Imp PCN projects and be the link between other external organisations where Primary Care Nursing input is required.
As the team lead you would be responsible for any relevant communication flows between the full PHCT team along with external stakeholders. As the lead nurse you would be expected to be involved in annual appraisal and training needs for the nursing team within the practice.
